Demo files (gotv, not pov) containing a configurable substring in their name will be eligible for parsing.
There are no new rules for parsing demos; basically if the custom demo has the same structure as a faceit one, it will work. The only way to know if your custom demos can be parsed by HeadshotBox is to actually try 😁
