Services can be designed with some resources taking a long time to respond. One could argue that they should respond quickly with 202 Accepted, or one could take the pragmatic approach and accept that people do this :)

It should be possible to configure the timer treshold so different endpoints have different timeouts, or are allowed to run forever without being considered slow.
