I have a colleague in need of a tool like CodeWorkout for his exams (although he may actually need something that allows some more open-ended grading, like Web-CAT). We are starting to do our exams at a remote testing center where students schedule their timeslot individually from a window of several days. For question security purposes, he wants to be able to draw questions from a pool so that students can't just share the questions afterwards. It would be nice if CodeWorkout could do either of the following:

  • Draw K questions from a single pool of size N
  • Have a series of question pools: the first question draws from a pool A, the second draws from a pool B, etc.
