Vite manifest not found during production build

Hello,

I would like to ask if anyone has figured out how to prevent an application crash during the production build.

For example, when I change or add a class, I need to run npm run build on the server. However, in the final step of creating the manifest, the entire application becomes inaccessible due to the error: "Vite manifest not found at: _path". Is there a way to prevent this situation? I don't think using php artisan down to build a single CSS class is a viable solution.

The error message you are seeing is specifically from laravel integration, so I would suggest asking to https://github.com/laravel/vite-plugin
