Hey, guys! How is it going? I think that would be interesting to have more control about the thread in the useAssistant hook because the append method runs the assistant and the submitMessage too.

Maybe some flag to avoid runnning the assistant in every message is enough.

Use Case

The feature would be beneficial to people building human-like chatbots.
