If you are choosing to not do any addition soldering and choosing the convenience option you must edit /config/rgb_options.ini and change "adafruit-hat-pwm" to "adafruit-hat"

This is a known issue and I will keep this open until I fix it

it's been 2 years lol. Might be worth pinning a comment on your video so people who aren't inclined to check the issues tab are aware as well. If you're busy I can add one more question to setup.sh that will update the value if necessary and create a PR. Up to you though let me know.
