Photos often need to be rotated. Sometimes there’s metadata saying it should be rotated, which can be handled automatically on Linux with jhead -autorot *.JPG so maybe .NET has something similar. Other times the rotation information is not present or not what we want, so a manual lossless rotate would be helpful. The jhead command uses the jpegtran library, which may also be available for Windows.
