DjangoCon Europe 2022's calendar on the homepage is delightful! Should we steal that idea? (With a clone including all of our behind the scenes work too?) #10

That is super useful. We should definitely do that. I have no idea where to start though.

👀 Do we have a compiled list of dates?

Here's what I know of:

OG/CFP

  • May 15: application window closes
  • June 28: speakers and OG recipients notified
  • July 15: Talks announced
  • July 31: schedule announced
  • August (various): keynotes announced

Main conference

  • September 15: hotel room group rate closes
  • Oct 8: online tutorials
  • Oct 16-18: talks at the convention center
  • Oct 19-20: sprints

Here's what I'm less sure about:

Tickets

  • March 15: early bird tickets go live
  • July 15: early bird tickets close
  • September 23: deadline to be guaranteed a t-shirt with your ticket
  • October 9: deadline to buy in-person tickets

If @cholmes5 is good with those ticket dates (I totally guessed at these), then I think we have everything that matches their list. We don't have a need for a childcare deadline AFAIK.
